Homemade Poptarts

I do wish I enjoyed making healthy food as much as I enjoy making sweets. πŸ˜€ I gave some homemade poptarts a try this morning and they were delicious. I followed this recipe, though I cheated in a number of ways – I didn’t freeze anything and I just used stewed strawberries (is that a thing?) for the filling to name two. They still came out great. They were basically pie with the proper pie-to-filling ratio, which is lots of crust, little filling. πŸ˜‰

It's a homemade poptart kind of morning. I wish I enjoyed making healthy food as much as I do baking. ;)
