Here in the Laughridge household, we like cheese. We aren’t cheese snobs (yet, anyway
) but we’re on a mission to learn more about it and of course, eat more of it.
While we were chillin’ over at the home of one of the lovely ladies from The Bag Diaries, something amazing came out of the fridge: a cheese dome! In fact, I think it was exactly this one from Crate & Barrel:

Just looking at it makes me hungry!
After I found this little number, I had to see where else like-items could be purchased (although $26.95 doesn’t seem too high a price). Here are a few other options that I would be happy to display on my table.
Anyone else out there like cheese enough to purchase something like this?! Of course, it could be used for other things too…like cupcakes and other sugary goodies! Yummm!

I loooove cheese. I got myself a simple glass cheese dome from Ross for $5.99. I’ve mostly used it in decor so far (http://brittanysbigsky.blogspot.com/2010/12/christmas-decor-1-living-room.html) but I can definitely see it as an actual cheese dome if we ever host a classy soiree.
I love the cheese dome project that they did on Young House Love… a forty cent cheese dome from Goodwill refashioned with decorative paper: http://www.younghouselove.com/2011/02/better-late-than-never-2/
Brittany, I enjoy that both you and Sherry from that blog put pinecones in your cheese domes
Love cheese! And you can really add a lot of flavor to your food w/o having to use a lot. Glad to have found your blog. It looks great! I’ve actually been looking for something like this to store muffins and other baked goods. Thanks for the inspiration!
