After seeing the aerie commercial with Cintia Dicker in the new Drew bra, I questioned my love of the store (are their customers supposed to look like that now?! I definitely don’t!). When it comes down to it, I still love most of their stuff, even if it is meant for girls about half my age – it’s cute and comfy and not trying to be ultra-sexy. I mean, I love the super frilly stuff just as much as (if not more) than the next girl, but sometimes I feel like it’s meant for someone other than the person actually wearing it. Sometimes I want something pretty just for me to enjoy!
I did some searching online for some just-for-me underthings and wasn’t all that happy with what I found (I didn’t dig THAT deep, but these things shouldn’t be that hard to find!). Lots of the super sexy and tons of the so-comfy-you-could-wear-them-to-work-out-in, and even a bit of the trashy. Then, I thought of a recent trip to Anthropologie and all the cute loungewear and intimates they had. Perfecto! Well, a little pricy, but otherwise perfect!
Aren’t they all just fabulous?! Girly and pretty but not too over the top.
And when you’re ready to curl up with a good book and some tea before bed:
I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for equally chic options with smaller price tags. When I find, I shall share! Do you have any good suggestions or favorite places to shop? Do tell!
