In college, I found that certain types of music helped me to focus…and stay awake whilst trying to read tortuous textbooks. Said types were usually trance/electronica. Any other fans out there?!

In the workplace, I’ve been blessed with a setup that allows me to play music (quietly) at my desk. And guess what kind of music I love to listen to?! Yup, same stuff as before.

There are a few tunes I’ve stumbled across recently and I thought I’d share them with you! They may or may not actually fit into the category above – I am, after all, not an expert – but they still have the same affect on me. And dare I say, actually get me excited to “do work”!

Just a Little Lovin’, Carmen Mcrae (GB Remix) – This bad boy actually came from one of Sealy Posturepedic’s super bowl commercials. Some might call it a little risque….I think it’s clever. Watch the commercial here.
